'APS aims to promote and develop an interest in photography through an interesting and varied programme that includes weekly talks, presentations, and competitions, We also occasionally organise workshops and practical outings. The weekly talks and presentations are led by a mix of members and external speakers from the "photographic world".'

Willenhall is situated between Walsall and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. Today the town is rapidly changing Traditionally it has been a small industrial town famous for its lock and key industry including the famous Yale factory. There is a Lock Museum including an old lock workshop ... Willenhall History Society has been in existence since 1990. The first meeting took place on 11th December that year, when a constitution was adopted, volunteers for the committee were cajoled into taking part and the first few speakers were decided. From that date the Society has gone from strength to strength.'
