CHUtalks  'This fascinating seminar series highlights cutting-edge research undertaken at all levels of academia within the Churchill College community. Held in an informal setting with discussion encouraged, these talks aim to make complex topics accessible to a general audience.'

'Since 1986 in the second term of every academic year Darwin College has organised a series of eight public lectures. Each series has been built around a single theme, approached in a multi-disciplinary way, and with each lecture prepared for a general audience by a leading authority on his or her subject.

Bridge Lectures  'Expand your horizons with our lively and wide-ranging lectures and talks. We host five major formal gatherings once a year, where distinguished figures from the College and the wider world are invited to speak on their areas of expertise.'

Intellectual Forum  'We are a relatively new centre, bringing people together to discuss and learn about a wide range of issues. Most of our events are open to the public, and some are live-streamed.'

'Throughout the year King's hosts a number of research seminars, talks and academic conferences, many of which are open to the wider student body and general public.'

'Magdalene hosts a wide range of events throughout the year for both resident and non-resident Members of the College. Many of our events are also open to the public, and we enjoy welcoming both new and regular visitors to the College.

Pudding Seminars  'Newnham has a tradition of pudding seminars at Friday lunchtime, at which members of the College (undergraduate, graduate or Senior Member) give a brief 20-minute talk for a general audience on their current research, followed by questions, and accompanied by coffee and cake.'

'Trinity College hosts a number of Public Lectures, which take place on a regular basis (usually either annually or biannually). The lectures are open to all, with no ticket required.'
