A-Z of LECTURES and CATEGORIES
'Over many years the Chelmsford Theological Society has organised lectures, aimed at stimulating thinking about matters of faith and life.'
'We hold four or more meetings in the year. Guest speakers with national and international reputations are invited to give lectures, and then to respond to questions and comments from the audience ... Most meetings have a door-charge for entry and refreshments: there is no other membership fee and usually no requirement to book, and some events are free.'
'We usually meet six times a year: three times in the Kendal area, twice in the Carlisle area, and once in the west of the County ... Lectures are open to all and we are funded by voluntary donations.'
'Lectures are normally held on Wednesday evenings, starting at 7.30 pm.'
'All meetings are on Fridays, commencing at 7.30 pm.'
'Normally we hold three lectures a year ... Lectures are open to all people who are interested in the subjects being presented. Our approach encourages lively discussion and debate in a constructive atmosphere. Lectures are preceded by a glass of wine or juice at 7.0 for 7.30 pm.'

'All meetings ... are held in the nave of the Cathedral, beginning at 7 pm unless otherwise specified ... Everyone is welcome.'
''Norfolk Theological Society is an informal association of people from East Anglia interested in discussing theological and religious matters ... Everybody is welcome to come to the events and there are usually around 100 people who attend the meetings to listen to invited speakers and hold a discussion with them.' ALERT At Review, could not discover a Website summarizing the work of the Society; but their Lectures seem now to be held in Norwich Cathedral.
Meet ‘7:30 – 9.00 p.m. third Tuesday of alternate months’.
'Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month (excepting July, August and December) ... commencing at 7.30 pm.'
Monthly meetings, Thursday evenings.
'Founded in 2008 by representatives of several Christian denominations and the [former] Suffolk Inter-Faith Resource (SIFRE) ... It meets five times a year in or near Ipswich. The Forum welcomes all who are interested in exploring Christian theological issues in an open non-partisan way.'
The Society organizes a small number of evening meetings each year. When last reviewed there was not available a separate Website listing of these; but the details are usually accessible from the Website of Truro Cathedral - in whose Chapter House the Lectures are normally held.
'Meets normally on the last Monday of September, October, November, January, February and March ... at 7.45 pm ... Worthing Theological Society is open to people of all faiths or no faith at all. Lecturers are expected to be academic and objective and there is no attempt to persuade or indoctrinate.'
