'We meet on the first Thursday of every month ... We are a small friendly society, some of us are happy observing the heavens through telescopes, some of us are interested in imaging the night sky with either DSLR camera's, dedicated CCD's, webcams, or video cameras. Some members are also interested in making their own telescopes and observatories. But we all have an interest and passion for the night sky. Normally the December meeting is the society AGM and for a number of the meetings after January we will have outside guest speakers.'

'Formed in 1991 by a group of individuals who believed that the city needed an association where people could come together to share and enjoy the history of this area. Since then we have grown to a Society with around 75 members who meet once every month. Some of our members are researchers, delving into specific avenues of history; some are authors of local books; whilst the majority just want to come along and learn from our various speakers.'

'The Peterborough Theological Society is an ecumenical society, which exists to promote theological discussion and debate for all levels of interest. We invite a wide variety of speakers, most of whom are leading authorities in their fields.'

'We hope that we cater for the needs and interests of 21st century gardeners and garden lovers of all ages. You don’t have to have a large and immaculate garden – or indeed any garden! - to join us! ... WHS aims to offer members at least one activity per month throughout the year. Activites include talks, visits to local gardens, coach trips to great gardens and gardening shows, social events and Wansford Annual Show (held on the August Bank Holiday weekend).'
