'There are two themes in this unusual London museum. London's canals have a fascinating past and you will learn not only how they came to be built but about the lives of the workers, the cargoes, horses and how canals work. We are a waterways museum first and foremost, but also an industrial museum telling the story of the ice industry in London. It is the only London museum of inland waterways.'  Monthly programme of illustrated lectures.

LECTURES and TALKS2021 Programme

'In addition to open events for prospective students, we also offer an array of free lectures, workshops and talks which are open to the public. These events, on a stimulating range of subjects, are ideal if you live nearby, are visiting London, or if you have previously studied at London Met and would like to reengage with our community.'
