A-Z of LECTURES and CATEGORIES

'Meetings are held most Thursdays during the season starting at 7.30 pm.'
'Most meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 7.00 pm.' ALERT At Review, I could no longer discover a programme of events for the Kingsbridge History Society - the body originally referenced here. So I have used the Record to cite the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum, which organizes lectures and talks, from time to time.
'There are walks and illustrated talks on a variety of subjects; other events include lunches, coffee mornings, a Summer Fair, concerts and bar skittles ... We welcome new members. To join, you must first be a member of the National Trust, or hold a current Volunteer Card.'
'We hold monthly lectures between October and June on the second Monday afternoon of each month (except public holidays) starting at 2.30 pm ... The series of nine lectures (from October to June) is available by subscription only and costs £40 ... There is currently no joining fee. Guests of DAKFAS members are welcome to attend a lecture for £6 but are limited to three visits during the lecture series.'
'Our Society brings people together through a shared curiosity for the arts. Our events provide welcoming places to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts. Our members contribute to and preserve our artistic heritage through volunteering and grants. Our work creates a better, healthier and more connected society.'
