Monthly meetings, Wednesday evenings: 'From its beginning in 2000 the History Group has maintained a programme of monthly talks from guest speakers on a host of local history topics. Visits to local places of interest also feature in the group’s programme. The group manages an archive available to members of local historical documents and photographs that have been donated by local people.'
'Each year the Society presents a series of lectures on a wide range of subjects, given by local and national experts ... Non-members are welcome to attend lectures, for which there is a charge on the door of £6.00. Refreshments are included in the price. Entrance fees may be altered for special events.'
'Chester Theosophy meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month to listen to inspiring talks from speakers from all over the United Kingdom and abroad. Talks focus on a variety of topics, from ancient wisdom to the esoteric, modern quantum physics and the very nature of consciousness to the mystic, encompassing both eastern and western philosophies.'
