'French Clubs affiliated to and with talks supported by Alliance Française de Londres. Please note that admission to events organised by French Circles are entirely a matter for them and the Alliance Francaise de Londres is not responsible for or involved in admission policies to events.' (Note I have added a small number of Localities hosting 'French Clubs' but not referenced in the AFL List at the time of Review.)

'The Society was formed in 1966 to bring together members of the local community and encourage interest in the History, Literature and Archaeology of Alresford and the surrounding areas. It has been instrumental in recording the area’s history and events ... Many of our members have played a pivotal role in the ongoing social and commercial life of our attractive town.'  The Society holds monthly meetings 'where a balanced programme of talks and presentations takes place in a friendly atmosphere'.

'Bishop's Waltham Aviation Group welcomes all BWAG members and visitors to our site. We are a non-profit group of aviation enthusiasts for whom a series of monthly talks of aviation interest and occasional visits are arranged ... The regular meeting date is the first Tuesday in the month from September to June.'

'We honour and promote the heritage and culture of the Gurkha Soldier and his continuing service to Britain. Gurkhas have loyally served this country for over 200 years. The Gurkha Museum ensures the future of Gurkha Heritage by celebrating, honouring and promoting the history and culture of the Gurkha Soldier and their continuing service to Britain.'

'Hampshire Beekeepers’ Association dates back to 1882. It unites 15 Local Associations within the County by organising Conventions and Honey Shows as well as promoting training through the Region ... All Associations are happy for non-members to attend a meeting occasionally but please check with the Secretary, or a member of the committee, that it is convenient for you to attend.'

'Promoting and encouraging the study of family history research since our formation in 1974. Our aim is to help you trace your family’s Hampshire roots ... We meet regularly to discuss the opportunity to share, learn, exchange ideas and information, as well as to help us each further explore our family history projects ... Across the County we have 13 groups that meet monthly offering lectures, visits and discussions.'

'We inspire, enable and encourage people to get involved with history, whether in the classroom, at college, in the library or at home. We passionately believe the study of history should be accessible to all people at all levels of study ... The Historical Association is an active organisation with events happening up and down the UK. The local branches all have a lively lecture programme open to both members of the association and any general member of the public wishing to come along.'

'The Theosophical Society is a worldwide organisation founded in 1875. Its primary aim is universal brotherhood without distinction of race, creed, colour, gender or social background. It is based on the realisation that life in all its diverse forms, human and non-human, is indivisibly One ... Toward this end the Headquarters and its National Sections sponsor public lectures, seminars, events and study groups on theosophical and allied themes.'

'WARG, the society for Winchester archaeology and local history, promotes the study of archaeology and local history in the City of Winchester and the surrounding area, through monthly events including lectures; walks; excursions and excavations.'

Monthly talks - usually on the first Monday evening of each month.

'Founded in 1923, WPS is one of the largest clubs in the southern region. Our membership covers all levels of photographic skills, from absolute beginners who have yet to purchase a camera, to those who travel the world producing sensational images of people and places, flora and fauna. As well as guest lecturers and competitions at our weekly Tuesday meetings, we offer workshops, tutorials and outings to help members improve their skills.'
