'The Gardening Club supports a great tradition in Box by promoting a love of gardens and gardening. Anyone is welcome to come along to events or to join the club. We have a show, party and outings as well as regular talks on subjects to suit all levels of skill and interest and a discount on seeds.'

'GBKA is a registered charity with the principal objective of promoting and furthering the craft of beekeeping. GBKA has been doing this for over 100 years and has members from all over Gloucestershire and its neighbouring counties ... The seven Branches within GBKA carry on most beekeeping activities. Each Branch runs its own programme of lectures, talks, training sessions and apiary sessions. Members may attend all the meetings and events organised by any of the seven branches.'

'Founded in 1979 by a group of quilting enthusiasts and has grown from a founding membership of 300 to over 6,500 individual members today ... Each of our regions provide a programme of talks and events and every year at least two or three regions organise exhibitions and retreats. The five special interest groups cater for special interests with challenges, meetings, retreats and summer schools.'

'Our aim is to promote and encourage the study of the history of the parish of Slimbridge in Gloucestershire. We do this by presenting relevant, entertaining and informative presentations and outings. Membership is open to all, whether parishioners or from anywhere else in the world that has an interest in the history of our parish.'

Founded 2008. Aims include:  'To promote interest in the local history of Stonehouse in all its aspects and through all periods of history ... To hold talks and meetings devoted to this aim and to visit places of historic interest ...'
