Please note that admission to events organised by French Circles are entirely a matter for them and the Alliance Francaise de Londres is not responsible for or involved in admission policies to events.' 'You don't have to be an "Expert Photographer" to be welcomed as a member of Chelmsford Camera Club. All you need is an interest in photography. The Club meets weekly from September until May with a varied programme of competitions, photographic talks and demonstrations, member participation evenings and social events.'

'The EBKA currently has more than 800 members, some with many decades of practical beekeeping experience, while others are newcomers to the craft, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to their new-found hobby ... Membership of the Essex Beekeepers’ Association is through local groups, known as Divisions ... Each Division within Essex holds a number of talks and meetings throughout the year, covering many aspects of the craft of beekeeping.'

'The area covered by the ESFH is that of the old Essex county with the exception of "London Boroughs" which are considered to be in the area of East of London FHS and Waltham Forest which is in the area of Waltham Forest FHS. Our main meetings are held monthly in Galleywood. We have monthly branch meetings in Colchester, Harlow and Southend-on-Sea. Our branch in Saffron Walden meets every 3 months. Meetings are open to both members and non-members but priority is always given to our members.'

'We are the charity that campaigns to protect and restore the country's 7,000 miles of inland waterways ... We campaign locally and nationally for the waterways – supporting restorations, lobbying parliament, championing regeneration and raising waterways users concerns ... Our members and volunteers are waterways-lovers from all walks of life who want to preserve and improve the network for future generations.'

'Our aim is to provide a focal point for photographers of all ages and abilities with a programme that includes competitions, lectures, digital image and print shows, practical evenings and much more.'

'The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK’s leading gardening charity. We aim to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place. This vision underpins all that we do – from inspirational gardens and shows, through our scientific research, to our education and community programmes. We are committed to inspiring everyone to grow ... The RHS owns five gardens across the UK ... We also work in partnership with more than 200 Partner Gardens giving our members free access at various times of the year. Through our gardens, we help gardeners across the UK and overseas by providing access to diverse plant collections, examples of innovative and attractive planting design and good horticultural practices. They all hold regular talks, demonstrations and walks ... We also link to community groups through the It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme and a host of Affiliated Societies.'
