Local Society: Basingstoke

'Hampshire Beekeepers’ Association dates back to 1882. It unites 15 Local Associations within the County by organising Conventions and Honey Shows as well as promoting training through the Region ... All Associations are happy for non-members to attend a meeting occasionally but please check with the Secretary, or a member of the committee, that it is convenient for you to attend.'

'Human beings are social animals, and we often feel the need to get together to find support, learn new things, meet new people, and work together for a common cause. Very often we just want to get together to relax and have fun with like-minded people. There are dozens of local humanist groups affiliated to Humanists UK across the country, as well as Humanists UK events and activities taking place that individuals can get involved with in their local communities.'

'A Club for anyone who grows orchids, whether on a windowsill or professionally, providing a place for members to meet socially, to show their orchids, acquire new ones, and to learn about them with lectures, a journal, a library, exhibiting at shows and cultural advice. Our membership is national and international, with individual members and Affiliated Societies.'
