‘The Maudsley Philosophy Group is based at the Institute of Psychiatry at the Maudsley, London UK. It began in 2002 but continues a tradition of clinical and conceptual work that dates back to the founding fathers of the Maudsley Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry ... The Group organises regular seminars and lectures that bring together clinicians and researchers with philosophers, public intellectuals, and policy makers. We drive at innovation and exchange in the areas of psychiatry and philosophy.’

'We organise lively illustrated talks given by experts in their field. These take place on the last Wednesday of every month, except August (no meeting) and December (which is mid-month and a bit different!). Arrival is from 7.30 pm for a 7.45 pm start. We take a refreshment break midway through, and our evenings end around 9.30-10 pm.'
