This ranges from varous styles of needlework, knitting, felting, weaving, lacemaking, patchwork etc. Members like nothing better than to converse with other like minded people, and have fun stitching, drinking tea and eating cake.’

'The Federation is affiliated to the BBKA and is comprised of three local area associations: Southern District Beekeepers Association; Western Beekeepers Association; Ramsey and District Beekeepers Association. There are over 80 registered beekeepers on the island which is blessed with a mild if breezy climate and varied terrain. Each of the clubs hold several meetings through the year sometimes at members’ apiaries.'
