'Drymen is a small village in the west of Scotland forming the gateway to east Loch Lomond. Our Society was established on 7 October 1982 amid dark predictions from sceptical local worthies that it would not last! However, we are still here, with a good membership ... The aims and activities of the Society include ... organising a regular series of winter lectures on topics of historical interest with particular emphasis on the Drymen area.'

'If you collect stamps in Stirlingshire, Clackmannanshire or southern Perthshire, this is the place to meet fellow collectors to discuss your hobby and collecting interests. We meet every second Monday ... Visitors and new members are always welcome.'

'Established in 2006. We aim to stimulate interest in the history of the burgh and city of Stirling, Scotland. We hold monthly meetings on the evening of the last Thursday of the the winter months September to April (except December) ... The speakers, whether academics, professionals or local enthusiasts, are all knowledgeable and lively and have something new and interesting to say about Stirling and its past. There is a chance to chat after the meetings.'

University Events: 'Many events at the University are open to the public and free of charge, but we do ask you to register for some events in advance. We look forward welcoming you to our events'.
