We passionately believe the study of history should be accessible to all people at all levels of study ... The Historical Association is an active organisation with events happening up and down the UK. The local branches all have a lively lecture programme open to both members of the association and any general member of the public wishing to come along.'

'Nature is not only beautiful but it is also fundamental to our lives. We can’t survive without it, but Wales’s natural environment is in decline and so are the benefits that it delivers. The LNP Cymru project will build a nature recovery network to help reverse this, engaging people and communities, businesses and decision-makers in both practical action and strategic planning for a healthy, resilient and nature-rich Wales.'

'Founded in 1835 by an outstanding group of scientists, technologists and historians who wanted to share and extend their knowledge. Among other things they founded and built what is now Swansea Museum. Today the RISW combines several roles: * We share knowledge across all fields, including history, current issues and science & technology; * We have a special focus on Swansea and its area, especially its local history; * We act as the official Friends of the Swansea Museum. We welcome anyone interested in Swansea and in promoting education and knowledge to join us.'

Thursday evening lectures are provided for Swansea Astronomical Society members, however, potential new members or members of other astronomical societies should feel free to come along as a guest.'

'The Theosophical Society is a worldwide organisation founded in 1875. Its primary aim is universal brotherhood without distinction of race, creed, colour, gender or social background. Toward this end the Headquarters and its National Sections sponsor public lectures, seminars, events and study groups on theosophical and allied themes.'
