Open Lectures & Talks'Every third Monday from September to May we meet ... to hear an illustrated talk on birds and wildlife by a carefully chosen expert in their field. Well over 100 of our members are present each month. Futher attractions are a sales table for RSPB and similar goods, bird food sales, information and booking for group outings, RSPB information sheets, refreshments and opportunities for chat. Oh and, of course, a raffle. New friendships are soon made to bring added value to the evening.'

Open Lectures & Talks'We meet on the third Wednesday every month, except in July and August, when we have a rest, and December, when we meet earlier ... Doors open at 7 pm, for a 7.30 start. Admission costs just £2. Refreshments are served, for a nominal charge. Our speakers are chosen to appeal to anyone with an interest in birds, be they a beginner or an expert. Non-members are most welcome, though we hope you will consider joining the RSPB, especially if you attend regularly. We look forward to seeing you!'
