'NAS has a membership averaging 150 and regularly meet on Fridays for club night with members staying to the small hours of the morning. We are a friendly, welcoming bunch. On good nights you will find members spending their time looking through telescopes or imaging and when it is cloudy you will find us in the clubhouse where we shared images, play pool or sit in groups chatting. We don’t spend all our time talking about astronomy but you are quite welcome to if you wish. We have a great club atmosphere and you would be most welcome to visit us on a club night and chat over a cuppa ... We hold a number of special public events with talks, tour, and look through our telescopes!'

The Friends organise regular events for members to attend, including talks and social occasions. These are primarily for Friends but non-members are always welcome if there are places available.'

'We are a forum where we exchange ideas and experiences for anyone, be they engineers or not, having an interest in engineering. Under "normal" circumstances our aim would be to promote widespread discussion and debate through a programme of talks and visits related to advances and achievements in engineering in the world today. If you are at all interested in Engineering, then the Norwich Engineering Society is for you!'
