Lymington

'The aim of the Group is to focus on developing member's photographic knowledge and skills through a mixture of hands on learning, lectures, competitions in a relaxed and friendly social environment. We view members work by internal competitions, fun competitive and non competitive meetings, shared knowledge and experience and arrange talks on a variety of subjects by experts or enthusiasts.'

'We exist for the gardeners of Milford on Sea, providing a succession of interesting speakers and demonstrations for our members. We also try to function as a social and meeting place for like-minded gardeners and everyone is welcome to visit. If we don’t make your visit enjoyable please let us know!'

'One of the oldest local history societies in the country ... We have been collecting historical records ever since the Society was founded in 1909. Today we have over 8,000 and we are making them more accessible through our on-line archive catalogue ... We have an active membership with a programme of talks and an annual outing.'

'The New Forest History and Archaeology Group was founded in 2008 to replace the New Forest section of the Hampshire Field Club. The focus of the group is on practical fieldwork and recording of the Forest's archaeology and local history ... It will hold occasional lectures and field outings, but the bulk of the work will be of a practical nature.'
