Objectives of the Society include: ' To ensure the legacy of F.W. Harvey is remembered through performances, discussions, lectures and publications about his life and work and inform young people about him through formal and informal education.'

'We hold lectures during the winter on appropriate topics, in various places in the Forest area. Some are given by our own members, other by historians and archaeologists from further afield.'

'Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm.'
