'We operate wholly through friendly, enthusiastic volunteers. We exist to tell the story of the heritage of Hinckley and the surrounding area through permanent and new exhibits and fun events each season, aiming to make the experience enjoyable to everyone from our base at the 350 years old, 17th century thatched cottages on Lower Bond Street ... Help us protect and preserve the heritage of Hinckley and district by becoming a Friend of Hinckley & District Museum.' Membership includes 'Free entry to a programme of talks during the year'.
