Devon Rural Archive, The

'We are an independant heritage centre for the study of our county’s buildings and landscapes which first opened to the public in 2009 ... You are invited to join us at the DRA, at 7pm on the first Thursday of every month, to learn about aspects of Devon’s history, archaeology and architecture, through a series of special talks.' The Archive is based in the rural location of Shilstone, near Modbury: 'Please note that Shilstone is not on a public transport route, and vehicular access is via narrow country lanes with limited passing places.'
