‘The Isle of Man Branch members have a wealth of experience in all genres of craftwork. This ranges from varous styles of needlework, knitting, felting, weaving, lacemaking, patchwork etc. Members like nothing better than to converse with other like minded people, and have fun stitching, drinking tea and eating cake.’

'The Federation is affiliated to the BBKA and is comprised of three local area associations: Southern District Beekeepers Association; Western Beekeepers Association; Ramsey and District Beekeepers Association. There are over 80 registered beekeepers on the island which is blessed with a mild if breezy climate and varied terrain. Each of the clubs hold several meetings through the year sometimes at members’ apiaries.'

'We currently host around a dozen events each year comprising outdoor visits and walks in the summer, and a series of lectures in the winter.'

'Established in 1983, the Society has gone from strength to strength with in excess of 300 members who enjoy a variety of events throughout the year. We have a full lecture programme during the winter months following the AGM in September and running through to early May.'

'Our annual programme runs from September to June, offering 10 lectures on a wide variety of arts related subjects. Lecturers are selected from The Arts Society directory of speakers and are chosen for their expertise and their ability to entertain and inform.'
