‘The members of Huntingdon Writers' Group come from a multitude of different backgrounds and interests and have equally diverse writing experience. Some have had short stories, poems, letters or articles published in magazines, whilst others have novels, short-stories, poems or non-fiction books available on Amazon. Importantly, we also welcome people who still aspire to publication, as well as those who are happy to write just for themselves and family or friends. Our activities include varied competitions with guest judges, speakers, manuscript evenings, workshops which explore different areas of creative writing, as well as fun evenings. We aim to offer something for everyone who enjoys writing.’

'The RNA holds its regular meetings at the New Cavendish Club in London three times a year. There is no need to book for these occasions - simply turn up and pay on the door. Meetings generally consist of a talk by a speaker from the publishing world - author, editor, publisher, agent, reviewer etc - or a Question and Answer session with an expert panel (for example an author, an editor and an agent). The business of the meeting usually lasts for an hour or so. It is followed by refreshments and a lot of catching-up chat!'
