Open Lectures & Talks'Each year the society organises several national events, all hosted by a local group, which are open to members. These vary from study days on specific hardy plant genera to a Summer Gardens day, usually held in June or July and either an Autumn Weekend of Garden visits or a late Summer study day. These events give members the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts from other parts of the country, to learn about specific plant families and to visit gardens that are not generally open to the public.'
