'The society meets on the second Thursday of each month, except January and August ... Doors open at 7.00 pm with the talk starting at 7.30 pm. The evening finishes at 9.00 pm and refreshments are available.'

In the winter we move indoors with meetings, lectures, educational and more social events; sharing and discussing the events of the year before and planning the coming seasons beekeeping. 'Our indoor meetings cover a range of subjects, not just birds. We have had speakers, with accompanying slideshows, talking about everything from hedgehogs to fungi to seals and to trees - and covering subjects from all over the world. The indoor meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, except August.'

'Meeting every Wednesday we aspire to have an interesting programme to suit all types of photography, amateur and professional alike. Through this media over a season the programme would include demonstrations, lectures audio-visual displays, outings, and competitions, all in a friendly atmosphere of like minded members.'
