‘We are thought to be the oldest fuchsia Group affiliated to the British Fuchsia Society, founded in 1963 ... With monthly meetings, an annual show, talks and demonstrations our aim is to enthuse everyone about Fuchsias, which are immensely popular throughout the UK. Our lively and friendly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month ( apart from Jan and Aug).’

'Was started in 1979 by a small group of people with a common interest in the structure of the Earth. There are now about 40 members who meet each month from September to the following June when speakers have been welcomed from both the academic world and industry.'
