'The local branch of the Thanet Beekeepers Association with members from the Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells areas and beyond. The Branch was originally formed in 2018 by a group of local beekeepers and we have grown in numbers now totalling more than 100 members ... We are a genuinely friendly and inclusive group, welcoming new and experienced Beekeepers alike to our weekly Sunday afternoon gatherings at the apiary throughout the beekeeping season, usually from April till September, for hands on bee keeping with help and guidance from our apiary managers and experienced bee keepers. We also meet on the last Monday of every month for demonstrations and talks by guest speakers and there is always time to chat and share experiences with likeminded people following the meeting.'
