'Its 5 branches cover Bath and Bristol and their surrounding districts and the local authority area of N. Somerset. This area was the extent of the old Avon County when it was created in the 1980s, mainly from the northern districts of Somerset. Since then the county boundaries have changed again and Avon County no longer exists, but the branches within ABKA carry on under the Avon banner, as an appropriate description of the catchment area.'

'A warm welcome to the Gloucestershire Beekeepers Association - GBKA - with the principle object of promoting and furthering the craft of beekeeping. The GBKA has been doing this for over 100 years and has members all over the county and from neighbouring counties. New members (all ages) - whether complete beginners or experienced beekeepers - are all welcome to join. The seven branches (Cheltenham and Gloucester, Cirencester and District, Dean Forest, Newent, North Cotswold, South Gloucestershire and Stroud) that collectively make up the GBKA, carry on most beekeeping activities. Each branch runs its own programme of lectures, talks, training sessions and apiary sessions.'

'The Federation is affiliated to the BBKA and is comprised of three local area associations: Southern District Beekeepers Association; Western Beekeepers Association; Ramsey and District Beekeepers Association. There are over 80 registered beekeepers on the island which is blessed with a mild if breezy climate and varied terrain. Each of the clubs hold several meetings through the year sometimes at members’ apiaries.'

'The Sussex Beekeepers Association is for those in East Sussex who keep bees or who would like to start beekeeping. There are five local divisions, Brighton and Lewes, Eastbourne, East Grinstead, Hastings and Rother, and High Weald. Beekeepers in West Sussex are served by our neighbour, the West Sussex Beekeepers Association which has three divisions, Chichester, Worthing, and Wisborough Green. Beekeepers in the Horsham and Crawley area have their own association known as the Central Sussex Beekeepers Association.'
